The second chapter provides details about the function of planning. The third and fourth chapter is about Organizing and Directing. Organizing is the study of the hierarchical structure of the organization and the chain of command which is of prime importance to the organization. Directing is another important function, which is related to the ways in which the decision of the management are communicated to the lower levels of the management. Finally in the fifth chapter, the control function has been, without which all the above functions are worthless.
