Basics Of Remote Sensing And GIS

When I started drafting "Basics of Remote Sensing and GIS", some of my colleagues mocked at me and asked me why I should bother to write a textbook at all. The only answer to this question is there are not enough Indian versions available on this subject. This effort of mine will ~atis~labus needs of the UG course in B.E. (Civil Engg.), B.Tech., (Geoinformatics) and the PG course in M.Tech. (Remote Sensing) and M.E. (Geoinformatics) of Various Universities.

This text has been written for use in classrooms by both the instructor and the students and ·also for independent study in the coming decades.

The main intention in bringing out this book is to make the subject easy and to increase the students' ability in facing the exams. Here, all efforts have been made to cover each and every line of the syllabus. The special feature is that short questions have been answered and some university question papers have been solved.
